The end is a lot closer than I want it to be. This is something that has been going through my head a lot lately. I wouldn’t say that I am obsessed with the thought of dying but I do think about it everyday. I wrote my eulogy as an awareness exercise for my business coach a few months back. It really allowed me to step outside of myself and try to see how everyone else sees me. More importantly it really made me think about and describe in great detail how I want to be remembered. I lost a friend this weekend. I don’t have all the details but it was definitely not a good situation. For those of you that do not know, I have a troubled past of drug and alcohol use. I never had to go into rehab, all though I did go to an AA meeting one time. Most of my friends used drugs recreationally and it was a big part of all of our lives. Somewhere between 2008 and 2009 I decided to grow up and get my life together. I decided that I wanted to be the fittest person that anyone knew(still trying to pursue this goal). That was it. Thats was my turning point. I can honestly tell you that I have not used any drugs since that day. I am not sure when that day actually was but it has been a long time since that day. I am telling you all of this because I am living on borrowed time. You see, I should not be here. I can’t tell you how many times I passed out from using too much drugs mixed with alcohol. I just want to say thank you  to all of you for coming into my life. You have all given me meaning and purpose. I take my job extremely serious and I am always up tight. I guess the reason is because I remember what it was like when I was doing something that was not fulfilling with my life. The goal of this message is to inspire you to live a fulfilling life. We don’t know when life is going to end. You need to know what you are good at and what you are not good at so that you can live a congruent life that is filled with passion and purpose. Thank you again for giving me a platform where I can learn and make mistakes everyday. See you all tomorrow. Cheers!! EB
