I was born on the Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. After my father’s career in the Air Force ended, we moved to Dublin, where I attended Dublin High School and graduated in 2009. I signed a football scholarship to Georgia Southern, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2013. I decided to continue my education, and earned my legal degree from Savannah Law School in May ’16.
When working with younger athletes, I find it important to stress proper form in order to avoid the development of bad habits. Weight training is essential for athletes to develop the power and explosiveness needed to excel in their respective sports, but proper form is essential to gain this explosiveness and avoid injury.
When working with general population, encouragement is key. Each person has their own purpose for attending Crossfit, and with this comes a requirement to approach each client differently.
Outside of Coaching
I enjoy hunting, fishing, reading, and going on adventures with my dachshund Red. I was born into a Green Bay Packer family, and I’m proud to say I’m a Cheesehead, Go Pack Go! I look forward to working with all of our clients, let’s get after it!
