About Laine
Laine has been a member of DGA since September 2017 (she thinks that’s the right month!). A Dublin native, she grew up here before moving away in 2008 for college, marriage, and following her husband Jacob around for his job. She and Jacob moved back to Dublin in 2017 and are now raising their two sons, Abel and Tate, here at home. Outside of DGA, Laine works in sales for AMWASTE — a trash service!
Laine stepped into coaching because she genuinely loves being coached herself. She loves the process of learning, refining, getting feedback, and pushing past what she once thought were her limits. There’s something powerful about having someone help you see what you’re capable of — and then actually stepping into it.
Coaching has helped her grow in ways she wouldn’t have on her own. It’s made her stronger, more disciplined, more confident, and more aware. She has experienced firsthand how much faster and better you can improve when someone is in your corner, challenging you and believing in you. That’s why she coaches. She wants other people to experience that same growth — to feel what it’s like to get better, to build confidence, to break through plateaus, and to realize they’re capable of more than they thought. She loves helping people raise their standard and step into their potential because she knows how life-changing it can be.
What makes DGA special to Laine is that it’s not just a place you go to work out — it’s a place where people know your name, know your story, and genuinely care about how you’re doing outside of the gym. It’s more than a gym. It’s a community that shows up for each other: in workouts, in life, in hard seasons, and in celebrations. There’s accountability, encouragement, laughter, and real relationships. You don’t just train here… you belong here. That’s what makes DGA different. It’s not just about getting stronger physically. It’s about building people up, doing life together, and growing side by side. It’s family.
A milestone she’s especially proud of is getting her first strict pull-up in 2021 after having two children — mom strength is REAL!!
Laine holds her CrossFit Level 1 and is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach.
