About VICTORIA

Hi, I’m Victoria Kight, and I’m kind of obsessed with movement. When I joined CrossFit eight years ago, I was uncomfortable with how I looked and how I felt. I was so scared to walk into the gym for the first time, but I was even more terrified of being a mom, a wife, and a woman who lived her life on the sidelines. At CrossFit DGA, I fell in love with setting goals and making progress.

 

During COVID, I tried to find ways of getting strong without using gym equipment. I started studying calisthenics and natural movement, and for Christmas that year my husband Joshua paid for me to get certified as a trainer. It was such a great gift. My biggest drive right now is becoming a fitness generalist. I want to feel good, avoid injuries, and move the best ways that I can.

 

I love teaching because it makes me a better student, and I love coaching because it’s so rewarding to share this journey with others. I still can’t keep up with my three boys, but one day I hope to teach my grandkids how to do a cartwheel.
